DAKSHINKALI

Dakshinkali Temple is one of the most famous temples in Nepal. This temple is dedicated to Kali, the fearful form of Lord Shiva's wife, located
22 kilometres outside Kathmandu and about 1 kilometre outside the village of Pharping.

 

CHANDRAGIRI

Chandragiri Hill, located on the south-west of Kathmandu Valley, is the second highest hill after Pulchowki at 2551 metres above sea level. The easiest way to get above the dust layer is via the Chandragiri Cable Car.

 

Patan Durbar Square

Patan Durbar Square is situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attraction is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.

 

Swayambhunath Stupa

Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy
shrines in Kathmandu valley. Its lofty white dome and glittering golden spire
are visible for many miles and from all sides of the valley. Historical records
found on a stone inscription give evidence that the stupa was already an
important Buddhist pilgrimage destination by the 5th century AD.

 

Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Bhaktapur is in the Kathmandu, Bhaktapur darbar square is a very
beautiful place people feels peace in this place. Bhaktapur is the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom, 1400m above sea level. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the current town of Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgaon, which lies 13 km
east of Kathmandu.

 

Kathmandu Durbar Square

Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three durbar squares (palace) located in Kathmandu valley which is all enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Kathmandu Durbar Square is Nepal’s crown jewel attraction for tourists. It holds utmost importance due to the history it carries along with the spectacular architecture that evinces skills of Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries.

 

Thamel Street Walk

Thamel is the heart of Nepal's tourism. It is the place where tourist get everything they want. It is a colorful and beautiful mixture of craft shops, boutique cafes, trekking gear, and rainbow prayer flags. This area has recently emerged as the most popular tourist area of Kathmandu. Thamel has clean narrow streets full of mushrooming lodges, hotels for budget travellers.

 

Budhanilkantha

The Budhanilkantha statue of the Hindu god Vishnu, located approximately 10 kilometers from the center of Kathmandu at the base of the Shivapuri
Hill, is the largest and most beautiful stone carving in all of Nepal.

Travel Itinerary

Day 1:

Enjoy the sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Squar after breakfast and visit Patan Durbar Square. After lunch visit to Budhanikantha temple and spend the early evening in Budhanikantha temple visit to Pashupatinath in the evening.

Day 2:

Visit Dakshinkali temple in the morning before breakfast and head towards Bhaktapour Durbar Square. Enjoy the sightseeing of Bhaktapour and visit to Stupa in the evening.

Day 3:

Visit Pashupathinath temple in the morning before breakfast and head towards Chandragiri temple through the cable car and visit to Thamel in the evening.
